Key blanks?

Hi, I have a single key for my right hand side hard case cover, tied having one made and was told it was most likely a Yale Y9, but two local big box stores did not have one such blank in stock. Anyone know what blanks typically work, or if there is even a "typical" one?

Thanks for the link to that thread, some good info there.

The good news is I have a working key to the fairing pocket, so its just a matter of getting a copy made, either by a locksmith or at another box store (which I may try a couple more times first). Also I was able to get copies made at "Home Despot" for the "KG" saddlebags, which I have far greater occasion to use.

I rekeyed all with

The square was smaller than my original key set, I needed to make new brass for the saddle bag mounts. I key coded them all the same. The larger knobs are easier to turn too.
