Hi Craig, I read on your website that you did not stamp mounting hardware to identify what bike it would fit.
I have just purchased a Windjammer mount and under one of the fairing top flat bars has been stamped "Vetter 150160084" any ideas please?

Sorry for the picture quality.

Those numbers stamped were from the sub contractors use only. The only numbers that had meaning were from the high volume brackets such as Honda 750s and GLs which actually had Honda 750 and Honda GL stamped into them. Even then, the info was incomplete. Honda had the habit of changing their frames all the time.
The only way to be sure that a bracket is appropriate for your bike is to know the bike it came off of, buy it in an un opened Vetter box identified as for your bike or to personally hold the bracket up to your bike and see if it fits.

Who'd have thought we would be having these problems 40+ years later?

Who'd have thought I would be discussing these things with you 40+ years later?

Thanks Craig

As you say 40+ years later, what does it matter, it either fits or it doesn't, unfortunately in this case it dosen't!!
