    So happy to find this site! I'm manufacturing my own mount to put a vintage vetter on my 2006 sportster low. Making a "Bagster". So far so good.

    Just to mention it, according to Craig Vetter, the windshield's plane should be parallel to the forks' plane.
    In other words, the windshield in that pic is tilted back a bit too far.

    I mounted my stay bracket to the "crash bar". Did some welding, and some mods. Very stable. I will post pics soon. Can't count how many times I put it on and off. Also changed headlight and directional to led day maker. Also need to cut windshield and paint fairing to match bike. Fire red pearl. I welcome any and all help.
