Found this while "Googling" today...really like the look of the WJ5 on the bike, though I'm not sure the bags are indeed a Vetter product, even from '84? Gives me ideas, though...

I keep looking at the WJ5 I have and wondering, especially this time of year. The windscreen doesn't provide very much protection for the legs, but I really like the look of the bike without the fairing. If I ever loose the 110, well that may change things.

I think the rear box (and possibly the panniers) are from the touring factory Yamaha XJ750 Seca, but can't be sure. They were like hen's teeth over here, and seem to be getting quite rare in the US, too.
They complement the WJ fairing quite well, better than the original fairing / bike they were fitted to, imo.

That is a clean looking rig. Flows well. Anytime you color match these bikes it just ads an element of cool.
