Hi Guys,
I just picked up a gorgeous Windjammer IV and would like to mount it on a 2009 Triumph Street Triple 675. Spoke to Mr. Vetter, who confirmed that the engine and radiator mounts would be the anchor points for custom fabbed brackets.
Does anyone know anyone anywhere remotely close to New Jersey who does 3d scanning and custom fabrication?
I’ve been watching Mike at Stanceworks build a custom tube frame F40, and with the knowledge, a 3d scanner, Fusion360 on the computer, and either SendCutSend or an in house CNC table, this thing could be on solid as a rock.
Please let me know. Always loved these.
Thanks

That seems a little overkill, and will likely be expensive. Craig has some information on his site about building customer brackets. Also, I have seen people do some great things modifying brackets from older bikes to fit newer bikes. No matter what solution you find, please share the results.

Definitely will be expensive, and Seems like overkill, until you watch guys 3d scan, feed the data into the computer, and produce exactly what they need that fits precisely in no time.

Great to hear this and best wishes on the retro fit. I rode behind windjammers for 40 years. I love them, trunk, bags, lowers, gadgets attached etc etc. I finally got a "modern" bike but I really really miss my beautiful jammer and all its glory sittin in the attic. Maybe one day I'll part ways with it, but more than likely it'll be my heirs that'll send it along for pennies the dollar...
