Just purchased a 1982 GL500 Silverwing Interstate that came with a Honda branded Windjammer 4 instead of the Hondaline. I still need to do some tuneups and would like to paint the luggage to match. Also had a 1976 KZ900 with a white windjammer SS. Wish I had the Fiamm hornd out of it!

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking Wing. I think any Wing looks better with a Vetter on it.

Welcome to the forum! Nice looking bike.

I don't believe that Craig did a production fairing for Honda. I know he started the process and 50 or so of a fairing called the Hondaline we made, however many were destroyed in the fire. Here is the story

I think somebody may have put a Honda emblem on a Windjammer IV. If somebody else know different let me know.

That's weird, I just clicked on each, and all three opened. Maybe it's a cache thing.

Nonetheless, you get the idea. Every Silverwing image I found had the Honda badge on the fairing.

But those are "Honda" fairings, not Vetter. As Honda was making fairings by then, I find it VERY unlikely that Honda would have re-branded Vetter fairings as "OEM". IMHO, a PO did that!

Ron, are you saying the image below is a production Honda fairing or a Vetter fairing with a Honda emblem?

That's a Vetter Windjammer SS or IV with Honda emblems and mirrors affixed. AFAIK, no one has turn signals shaped like a Vetter SS, IV or V. Below is the OEM Honda fairing, or as Craig called it, a “Windjammer from Japan”

Welcome to the forum! Great looking bike. I agree that it is a Windjammer. I have seen them with all sorts of different emblems and paint schemes.
