How to remove seat

My 1977 Terraplane is being installed on my 2012 Ultra Classic Electra Glide. The hack is pristine, but the seat needs to be reupholstered. Is it hard to pull out the seat?

Welcome, The seat bottom should just lift out. The back is held in via a rived hinge. The original cover is glued over molded foam so
careful not to damage the foam.
