The Vetter Rainy Day Fender

Hello Craig,

I posted a few pictures of my Vetter Rainy Day Fender in the thread "Other Vetter Designs and Products".
It is post #6: Click Here to see the pictures. Can you explain any more about the fender? I have searched, but have not come up with much information on it. Can you share any history of these fenders, like:

• When was it first developed?
• How many were sold?
• Was it widely accepted?
• Was it only for BMW, or were there similar fenders for other bikes?

Thanks in advance for anything you can add to the story.

There is a fun story behind the Rainy Day Fender 2&35 but first I must spend some daylight time on my streamliner. I just cut the tail off and need to ride it.
