Here are some pictures of my 2014 CB1100 with a windjammer faring. The fairing itself was in good shape, the surface was worn a bit, chips, scratches, and what not. I decided to cover it in marine grade vinyl.

I bought a bracket off eBay. Didn't say what it was for, but I think it was for a early gl1000/1100. Only had 1 cross bar and the frame mounts were very close. Here is a picture of the mount.

I think you're right about that.

Nice job with the vinyl , I never woulda thought of that, must have been some work to stretch it evenly.

It wasn't that bad, I had to do it in 2 pieces, left and right. I used non backing vinyl, spray glue on both the fairing and the vinyl. Then just worked it on to the fairing, one section at a time.

Very cool!

It worked on bikes made in the 70's and 80's... and even looks great on bikes made now!
