I know this bike has been a topic here before. Here are some details and images. If you know additional information or have more images please feel free to contribute.

1978 Kawasaki Mod. KZ-1000 “The Americanization of Kawasaki” commemorative model with Vetter fairing and luggage (95 of 200 made June 1978 Lincoln, Nebraska).

Kawasaki personalized 200 KZ1000's for their dealers to ride in convoy from their manufacturing plant in Lincoln, Nebraska, to a reception in St. Louis, Missouri, and then to their respective dealerships. The theme of the ride, "The Americanization of Kawasaki" was to focus on that they were on the only Japanese motorcycle company with an operating facility in the US at this time. Special decals and equipment were installed by the accessory supplier, Vetter, to Kawasaki's specifications.

Very cool!

After some quick searching, it seems like the prices have been all over the place for these. $2,500 to $11,000 - I guess it's a buyers market and will greatly depend on what the person wants to spend.

Here is a link with a little bit more information:

In the article it references another page with scans of magazine articles and here is that link:
