Yea I I think I got it . Take the screw's out the top and bottom corners. Un screw the speakers Put the screws back into the glass top bottom corners maybe some rubber type washers on the inside between the radio case an the glass an in the inside. Hows that sound to ya friend.?

I think I'm going to give that a try. Such a nice day out here today. Will see who else mite comment.

bolted rite up . front nuts put them on with a 1/4 drive swivel and socket. perfect. Easy in and out. This must be a early one. With no outside brackets..

If you want one of the newer 4" speaker versions let me know. I have an illness and have way to many!

Ohh yeah, thats an early version. It had the non marked grills, and metal grill rings. I have a couple of those units. I want to restore and have the chrome redone. The 8 track is so cool too. You can get vintage unused 8 Tracks on eBay. I have Frank Zappa's Apostrophe in my 8 track right now.

my wife love s it takes her back to her Chevy Vega days. What I do need is a replacement cigarette lighter for the fairing. mine cracked. Other wise its super glue the corner in. Any leads on one of tho's?

What is cracked: the lighter or the housing?

Paul, I picked up a spare WJ IV with a lighter that might be in salvageable condition. Do you still need one?

yea that would be cool, I super glued mine in place for now ..
