Yes, it was a long drive, but I think it worked out well for both of us...and it saved a good Windjammer from the dumpster. It needs some restoration work, and I have no idea what I am going to put it on, but I always seem to find a use for them.
VFR Man, thanks for everything, it was great...
Sorry I haven't been in touch. I'm interested, but I am having a hard time clearing my schedule to make a run up there. The earliest I could make it is the first week of August. If you can't sit on it until then, I understand. Feel free to PM me.

I haven't worked on a Vindicator, but I have had many Windjammers. Those cracks are a pain, and difficult to repair durably. Depending on where on fairing and how much the spot shows, I have had some success with plastic epoxies. Craig also sells a "Hotcha Repair Kit" which works okay. I've...
There is a lot more information available for Windjammers than Liberators, just because of the numbers sold. Have you checked Craig's site?

I do know that windshields are still available...
The instruction for the CycleSound unit are available on Craig Vetter's website. They should help you reverse-engineer how to remove it. Use the link below. It is about a third of the way down the page on the left.

I've never seen any reference to rubber bushings there in the original installation instructions.
On mine I always put a strip of old inner-tube between the fairing and the bracket, and then use some rubber washers along with some big fender washers on the bolts to minimize vibration noise...
I had been looking for an LED headlight for my Windjammer. I tinkered with a couple of different options but have now found an affordable one that I am really happy with. This is a full 7" replacement bulb and it fits inside the existing Vetter headlight shell without modification. Even the...
Why don't you just buy the replacement edging directly from Craig Vetter? He has it for less than half that price. It looks like those guys are just reselling his kit.

I fully understand. Teenagers will wear you out!
One side note... if you are into Podcasts at all, check out Motorcycles & Misfits. They discuss all things motorcycling. They are friendly with the Vetter family and occasionally give updates. It is available on Apple Podcasts and all the other...
That is not completely accurate. Yes, Craig was in a very bad accident in 2015 and suffered a traumatic brain injury. He has improved greatly in the last several years, but still has some trouble.
You are correct that his web page has not been updated since then, so it looks forgotten, but...
Wow! That was the deal of the century! It looks good on your bike. What is the bike? And, do I see an aoogah horn on there?
Good luck, and don't counter-steer.
I've got two. Suzuki GS750 and a GS550, both 1978. The 750 I have had for about 20 years. The 550 I just finished rebuilding. Other than not pulling the engine apart, I took the bike down to every nut, bolt, and screw and reconditioned everything. Both are "Vetterized." The larger bike...
