BTW... The picture of the camper with the bike in front of it IS the trailer shown in the other pictures! There is one shot of the front of the bike where you cannot see the trailer, but the trailer IS behind it!

I'm thinking of beefing up my Vetter luggage racks by welding more 4130 to the frame.

Are you referring to the truck or side racks? Is it not strong enough? My truck rack is not the round tubes I have seen many times, its the square ones, so its really strong.

I want to tow a trailer for camping gear. I see something on the side of this one but I would think it would interfear with attaching the bags
.

But I was thinking of taking my saddlebag mount (like above) and beefing it up and a custom aluminum trailer hitch. As to wether it is stong enough, I don't know but the warning inside the door tells you to limit the weight to 60 lbs., the last thing I want is the trailer becoming unsecure while riding.
