1984 GL1200 for sale SE Ohio!

Got it on trade a while back and never road it(I have never rode a motorcycle before.) Tried to keep it rolling and keep fresh gas in it. Starts runs drives and stops. Trying to make room in the garage for another project that's been on the back burner way to long. Did a little research and now I have it up for sale.


1200cc Honda Goldwing needs new battery but It starts runs and drives. I have all 3 bags for it but has cracks in them. Has vetter windjammer fairing on it and has a cheapo after market stereo but I have a Vetter mounted cycle sound to go with it. I also have an extra tank cover with chrome bars and a hitch for it. Extra stereo and foorboards driver and passanger 53,208 miles clean title. 1800 OBO

I missed this when you first posted it for sale! Welcome to the forum.

It appears that what you have there is the slightly rare GL1200 Standard, meaning it came from the factory without the fairing/bags/trunk. Depending on who you believe, it is said that Honda made between 5,000 and 20,000 copies of the Standard and it was the last year of the Standard and the only year for the 1200 Standard.

If you take the fairing off, I would be interested in some pictures of the fairing mount. I have a WJ V earmarked for my 1200 Standard, but the 1200 Vetter mounts are even more rare than the bike.
