This is a super cool thread on the Adventure Rider Forum. I think you guys will enjoy it! Lots of great pics, and it is very uplifting to see the younger kids and their appreciation for classic motorcycles and accessories. The coolest part is two of the three bikes have Windjammers.

"It's tall tale about a bunch of 23 year olds riding $1000 35 year old bikes cross country on a peanut butter sandwich budget. We can’t even afford the jelly."

Check out the thread here!

Hey thats kinda like me! Im only 25 lol not sure id make it cross country on my 35 year old yamaha maxim tho

Sure you would! I am actually setting up a Vetter ride that will end with Craig Vetter. Similar to this, low budget and fun! When I get all the details done I will post.

Whats totally cool about this ride report is that they took a crap ton of great photos of their bikes. It also look like they went back and added more after the ride. Lots of great Windjammer photos.

Awesome! Post details once you have more info on that ride, sounds like a blast.

Yeah, there is just something so cool about that trip. I wish when I was younger I had done something similar.

Following that now - only got to page 4 and engrossed in it. Did they find the one-armed man and bring peace, justice and prosperity to the West? No spoilers, please.

I have read through it several times. Makes me want to be young and free again.

Yes I am !
Are you looking for mounts etc?

Nope I got mine on my 650 max back in April. I just bent a cb750 mount to fit it. Check out my showcase on xjbikes, "maximus", there's a couple pics of it in there.
