Bear Valley Springs Deer Fire!!

Well,

Bear Valley Springs about burned down. Big fire just over the hill from my house. It's still burning at 40% contained. They call it the Deer Fire. It may have got some national attention.

I took the kids to the small lake down the street from our house where the fire choppers where pulling water. They have been going back and forth for 3 days now!

Here is the spec sheet. This was yesterdays

Sounds like you could have used the rain we got yesterday. Got 6" of rain at the house and some places a few miles away got 9" of rain.

In other news, those Sikorsky helicopters are amazing.

They were amazing up close. They must have went back and forth over a 100 times. I wonder if that get boring to fly... Prob not!
