Hello to all, RickNRoll53 "New Member". I would like to know if any of you might have a Honda cb1100 with a mounted Windjammer fairing? I recently purchased one, never mounted. Has wiring harness inside left cover. no pigtail for 9 pin connector, no windshield. Has lockable right cover. I would appreciate any info you guys might have, ladies too of course. I am also looking into the possibility of adding lowers to it. Maybe type 52, since the 1100 cb is kinda like the 750 motor. Maybe some one can steer me where I can get a new windshield with vents and chrome trim kits for fairing and lowers. Thankyou all for listening today!

What year is your CB?
2014, Honda cb1100, Black. found a site www.ceebaileys.com. they make replacement windshieds with a horizontal vent in shield. pretty cool looking. the old vents were round. this vent is adjustable. I have looked on ebay for a pip tail to hook into headlight, no luck, the ebay posters say they fit a "V" bet they don't!. also looking for an 8" headlight cover. I appreciate your feedback AVetterXS. When I get it done I hope to post a picture on here. Going to have to figure out how to do that though. thx Rick G.

Interesting project. So a new bike, that is a somewhat modern replica of the older style with a windjammer. I am game, and curious how this would look. What would really be cool is if you could paint match it to your bike. What color is yours?

As far as the mount goes, you would have to customize a mount for it. Finding the closest one and modifying it would be the way to go. Some others on here may have an idea where to start.

It looks to me like you the oil cooler may be in the way?

I just photoshopped this. It actually looks pretty cool. I think I got it lined up pretty good. I used a 79 GL1000 to fit it. I got the color close too.

First - Welcome to the forum!

I wasn't aware that Cee Bailey made screens for the WJ's. Cheaper than the source that I had too!

Pigtail - there is no generic pigtail to just plug right in - you would probably be better off to order a new connector and make your own harness, but they are mostly the same: http://www.craigvetter.com/pages/Online_Store/Replacement_Parts/Details.html#anchor

Are you planning on leaving the headlight bucket and turn signals in place? Is there enough room with the WJ?

I do not believe that the trun signals can fit with fairing on, and If I can retain headlight bucket I will. If not Home Depot sells these rubber covers in the plumbing dept that will go over an 8" PVC pipe and you secure it with a big hose clamp......The headlight is eight inches so got those bases covered. I am trying to determine which lowers would be close to fitting the engine on the cb1100, maybe someone on this site has some to sell??? I think the KZ 900/1000 lowers might be close. I appreciate the feedback from everyone. Thank you gentlemen. The fairing is at the painters !!!! Going to fabricate the bracket next.
