Craig's Website is Down

Paul Mercer who runs www.vettermysteryship.com let me know today that Craig's site is down. I sent an email to Carol.

Does anybody have some info on what's going on? If they were not wanting to pay or maintain it anymore I offered my services to Carol for free. I would be happy to inherit, host, and maintain the site as this is what I do for a living. History must be preserved.

You can find many, maybe all of the pages archived at the Wayback Machine. Terrible to have the website just disappear! Too much information not found anywhere else.

With the help of Craig's son Zak Vetter and loyal Vetter enthousist and contributor Paul Mercer I was able to get all the elements necessary to get the site back up and operational. There are a few broken links here and there that I am working on. However, it is mostly all there as it was when it went down. The site is now safe and hosted on our servers with the VOG forum.

In the future I am planning on redoing the site as a whole. Modernize it with new larger images, more history and organization. It will still be Craig's site, however he will not be as much involved as he was in the past. We will continue to get info from Carol Vetter his wife and Zak as it comes along. If anybody has ideas and suggestions please let me know!

Sadly it doesn't sound like it Larry from my conversations with Carol and Zak. I think they are wanting to wind down the sales portion, however I have heard that maybe a Vetter eBay store may be an option.
