I recently bought a 1977 Harley Electraglide that was set up with the Liberator kit. I am more into the stripped down look of the Electraglide so thought I would try to sell the kit where maybe someone would appreciate it more than I do. It's very cool but not for me.
The parts are off a bike with 10K miles and was stored most of its life so the fairing and all parts are in good condition for their age. No cracks or damage to the fairing. The only down side to the fairing is the prior owner installed an am/fm radio.
Would like to sell the fairing, saddle bags, tour pack and all mounting hardware, wiring kit, air and oil gauge fittings, brackets, chrome side rails and covers, white seat, luggage rack, bates center stand etc. etc. as a complete kit. I removed the complete kit from the bike myself so all hardware is there and included to basically bolt it back up. I have the paper Liberator Warranty Registration card from the dealer (was not filled out) and the number on the fairing is 4314. The fairing and saddlebags are white with the gold stripe on the fairing.
The parts are located in Denver, Colorado. Appears I am not savvy enough to upload pics but should be able to get them to you from my phone.
Would like to sell all parts together as a package. Asking $2,900 for everything listed. Let me know if you are interested or have any questions.
Thanks,

I really love the look of those Liberator Fairings. If I had a Harley I would be on that like White on Rice. I know one thing for sure, you are not shipping that Liberator unless it's by Truck Freight. You may want to include your location as most people would need to come and pick it up and haul it away in their truck. Just wondering if you've experienced riding that bike with that Liberator on it.

As for a picture of it, I'm pretty sure this is what you have.

That pretty much sums it up for sure, the bike I bought still has the stock exhaust too which I like. After your post I was curious so weighed the fairing which came in right around 43 lbs. which is lighter than I would have thought by looking at it. I never had a chance to ride it dressed out since it was not running when I bought it. With the rest of the stuff I took off the weight was just over another hundred lbs. so weight wise not much more than an average passenger for the bike. Handling wise I can't comment but imagine it would cut the wind pretty well.

Craig Vetter designed all his Fairings to be aerodynamic. What that means for the rider is no wind buffeting and the noise that comes with that. It also improves performance as the Bike "cuts though the wind" reducing drag. The net effect is a bike with a Vetter fairing gets a performance upgrade and better gas mileage. They also greatly extend the riding season. I ride year round behind my Windjammer. Personally, I would get the Bike running and put just that Liberator fairing on it just to try it out. I'm pretty sure you would keep it once you ride behind it.
When I told some other Bikers I was going to put a Windjammer on my Honda VLX 600 they all told me I would hate it. Most of them had never actually seen one in person much less experience the ride behind one. After I put it on my Bike their attitude changed. A couple of them even went out and found Windjammers of their own and mounted them. They could not believe the difference. There's a reason Craig Vetter sold half a million of them in the span of a decade. I easily keep up with the pack when riding with other Bikers even when they are riding Harley's. I'm disabled so I needed a smaller, lighter bike. My VLX 600 was perfect for that. At first some of those guys sneered at me for even showing up to ride. During that first ride those attitudes changed.

I seriously doubt the wife would let me as I already have 3 huge projects around the garage, but I'm curious of the price, and location.
