As Tom implied, worth is subjective. What is it worth to you?
As you keep finding trikes and hacks, you are outside my comfort zone for estimating worth (to me.) Add-on's only add value if you are looking for those specific add-on's. Otherwise, IMO, they detract from the value.
In your latest example, if you did not want a sidecar, or did not want "that" sidecar, that makes it a liability, not an asset. Sure you could sell it after you remove it, but then you have to find a buyer and again hassle with making a "deal." If you did not add value for the sidecar in your "worth to me" estimation, anything you got out of it at this point is gravy. If you added $1000 as Tom suggested, You will have to get at least $1000 out of it to "break even."
However if you want a sidecar, and this one is acceptable to you, by all means add what it's worth to you to your offer.
I know kind of a wishy washy response,
but I don't know exactly what you're looking for.
