My bike and the Vetter

Very good looking.I only have 86000 on mine and it is trashed...but it makes it look I went somehere:)

Over the years I have taken my lowers on and off many times. They have kept me dry, warm, looking good and sometimes sweating my**s off but I still like em.

Just some road dirt on them now from a rain storm:-)

I like them on rather than off. I think it just looks better with them on. Now that I have a spare fairing, I think I need a spare set of lowers and I may just shorten them up so the match the shorter windscreen when I have it on during warmer months.

I would like to keep them on also but with an inline air cooled engine it gets a little toasty in the seat:)
If I am going to a park and wanna have lunch I will throw something on the engine and heat it up,bratt piece of pizza warm up some chicken.

I have been cooking on an engine for soo long...geezzzee couple of years ago I had a couple of brats on the valve cover and musta put a small hole in the foil when wriggling them in or pulling out but for the next couple of days my engine smelled like a brat...drove the dog nuts, heck me too..kept me hungry:D I am sure the younger crowd never heard of this trick with all the fast food joints around.

I was out scouting some roads in se Indiana for leading our SWOHXS group on a ride.I had found some off the beaten path type of roads shall we say:D

Wow Brian! That looks awesome. I can't wait to see the entire project completed. Did you do a complete motor rebuild?

No... I have had no problems with the motor. Only pulled it because I am installing a C5 Ignition system and to do that it either requires the engine or swingarm removal. I had a few other things I wanted to do... like paint and polish, so the eninge made more sense.

Well I did it again..doing a power slide into the garage and got the foot peg embedded in the concrete and this happened.

I used to be able to pick it up myself but now I need help:-( Don't think any damage to any thing.

Buddy stopped by and picked it up for me,no damage, case guards do work. Not a highlite of my life but also not ashamed of it either, only the fact I am not able to do a lot of things anymore.:-)
