Well I've assembled and mounted the other Terraplane to the V65 Sabre. I've left the top off for painting while I sort out alignment, etc.
Powder coat - silver on the chassis, gloss black mounting hardware . A previous owner had deleted the diagonal supports so I fabricated new ones. Max is ready for a ride....

The SS luggage rack blends in well with the chassis.

Like your dual level luggage rack. Pardon the pun, I hacked this rack on mine last year. And removed all the seat pieces for Auto my stray rescue.

I just noticed the car battery. Are you using it instead of bike battery? How does alternator/stator handle the big battery?

Nice - is that rack custom made? If not what was it from? I want to put a rack on my other Terraplane.

I don't have the exact style number, but it's a Spyder aftermarket rack from Show Chrome. Google search brings up lots of options. I almost went the route of expensive MG style rack with rotating mounts, but this one sits much taller on the rear legs and little angle pieces brought the mount on the front legs into perfect position. My period correct Drag Specialties duffel fits perfect on it.

Thanx for the info - I see it comes in black also.

Ordered out the black Spyder rack and mounted it on the Terraplane. Thought I'd drill holes before the tear down and restoration of the chair. Thanx for the tip, TexasBulldogger!
