Hi,
I need to find the part (or to adapt something) which joins the front windscreen and the side widescreen of the sidecar (see pictures attached).
I also would like to add a cover to ride under rain with my kid. Any picture or idea how to do it?
Thanks.
I did find some stuff called "H" channel moulding by doing a search. Not much on eBay, but there are some companies out there who do sell small orders. A stock windscreen and side screens are roughly 1/8" so that is what you look for. I never did find anything even close to original, but that would be so cool if we could!
Here's the best I could find:

I gave up and simply made up clear joiners that use plastic screws to join them together. (see pic)
Mine came with just one good side screen and the other one was broken, but complete, so I made them both into templates for future screens. NO, they are not the same!!! Don't ask how I found that out! I now have a few made up and plenty of stock for more. I use the same material to make the little strip joiners.
As far as attaching any kind of top to the windscreen I don't recommend that since the wind flutter will slowly fracture and crack the plastic. You would be better off to make up some kind of hoop to fit closely around the windscreen out of aluminum or steel to take the stress of the fluttering and pull. I am making up a model-t style rag top for mine that will have struts going forward to locate the front edge, just like on a model-t windshield.
BTW, that's an excellent example of a stock TP! Congrats on finding it!
