Hello, new member here. The back story is fairly quick. While cleaning out my grandfather's garage we found a Windjammer SS and mounting hardware in the attic. Dad remembers it coming off of a CB750, but it would have been more than 30 years ago, and he's not sure. Everything seems to be in decent condition, It is missing the key, but that appears to be the only thing. The fairing is not particularly my style nor do I have anything to put it on at the moment, so I will probably be looking to sell it soon. I was hoping that yall might be able to give me an idea of what to expect for it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Looks like it has some wear on it, but overall in decent condition. Clean that baby and shoot some more pics. Value on WJ's really depends on the area you live is what I have noticed over the years. When I lived near LA, San Fran, Sacramento the value was higher and I could actually sell or trade stuff. However, when I lived in North Idaho I could not give away Vetter stuff. If you clean and post it on here you may find somebody that is close to you that would drive to buy it. Its a PIA to ship WJ's.

Let us know what part of the country you are in. As Kynan pointed out, Windjammers have been out of fashion for a while, so they are not in high demand. I am a bit of pathetic Windjammer collector/rescuer. Yours is a later model, I would guess made shortly before Craig sold the company. Prices vary greatly depending on condition and where you are. I would need more pictures to say for sure, but it looks pretty good. The only major problem I see is the rash on the right side trim. Yup, location and a bunch more pictures.

Finally got around to cleaning it up, sorry I know it has been a minute. I will post the pics below. I did include pics of the few issue spots I found on it. Overall seems like it is in decent shape for being in a barn for a couple decades. I am in the Atlanta area.

Looks good!

It cleaned up pretty nicely. I hadn't noticed before, but those four screws on the inside, beneath the headlight adjuster, suggests that it has the optional horn kit. You would have to check inside to say for sure. You might be able to see them through the slots in the turn signals. If you are going to sell it, I would start at about $150.00. Try and sell it locally first as they are quite expensive to ship.
