My Z1000ST with Rickman Polaris fairing fitted from about 1986

Thanks for the comments, unfortunately the fairing went some years ago so now looking for a replacement either Vetter or another Rickman, I can probably find a fairing in the UK on Ebay but there never seems to be a suitable mounting bracket.
This seems strange as a lot of the marketing litrature from the 80's shows a Z1000ST or Z1000 MKII with a Vetter full set, problem is the ST was only made 79 and 80 and is a different frame to most of the other big Z's.

I've said it before... all things are possible with a good grinder and a welder. :D

With my welding I would probably end up with it on my lap at about 80mph, or see it disappear over my head!

Now that is funny. I need to practice my welding. I did ok when I modified my luggage mounts, however the grinder and paint helped a ton!

Ok, I see your point. My welding is about the same and that is probably why most everything I weld is behind me as I am riding down the road!:D

Seriously though, modifying these mounts to fit isn't that difficult. Mock up something out of light-weight material and take it to someone else to weld.
