I recently came across a set of instructions that are similar but different than the set posted on Craig's web site and previously on the TP owners site. I have sent this set to Craig for him to add to his site, but thought it useful to add to the information here as well. The title of instructions and date are different as are a few details. One helpful difference is that the text is quite clear. I have attached them. Mike

about Sidecar Body Removal
Question.
I am in the process of refurbishing my Vetter Terraplane. A PO covered the frame with gobs of reflective tape and left the sidecar uncovered in the open effectively ruining the finish. I am dismantling the car in order to refinish the body and frame. I have removed every bolt and rivet I can locate, but am still unable to separate the body from the frame or separate the body sections. I am reluctant to use a lot of force, for fear of cracking the body. I'm at a standstill with my project. Does anybody have a solution or suggestions?

Remove the rubber molding around the perimeter. Drill out the pop-rivets. Remove upper body half. Find and drill out all the pop rivets holding the plastic 'bulkhead' pieces on either side of the seat. Same with rivets holding the seat hinge to the body/frame. Find and drill all the rivets which attach the bottom half of the body to the main perimeter frame tube. Unbolt the seat belt ends from the frame underneath the body. Then it will lift right out!
