I just could not take city life anymore. Living in Bakersfield CA needed to come to an end and it has. I moved about 1 hour east of the valley to a super cool mountain community. The people are so nice here and the air is so clean (Bakersfield has some of the worst air in the nation). My elevation is about 5500 feet or so where we are. We can get snow in the winter, but only a few times a year. It is going to be a much better place for the children to grow up. Can wait to get all my Vetter goodies unpacked. This well be a temporary residence for us while we build a home on a lot we purchased.
