I didn't even know these existed - I want one, so badly. But not so badly I'd sell my granny, there are limits.
These items are rare in a small community of Vetter collectors. What you will notice is that most of the "rare items" that are in poor condition are passed on. Most collectors are in hopes of a NOS unit coming up, that will be bid to the moon. That one came up on ebay past sales - went for $127 with a mere two bidders.
Is there a cure for that?
I think they'd be rather good at that, but don't start a craze - then the prices will go up and a shortage will develop. Is there a cure for that?
I have a few to spare and my shop stereo is rather old and beginning to show its age, so I think I am going to buy a 12 volt power supply and convert a Cycle Sound into a shop stereo.

AV would be sitting on a gold mine then!
