XS Eleven Heaven - Bob Jones Author

I was meandering around xs11.com and I ran across a thread about this XS11 book by Bob Jones called XS Eleven Heaven. I check around to see if I could purchase the book and it was out of print. There were some used copies on Amazon for $200+ dollars. I was sad. I did some more research and found a fellow on the forum that posted Bob's wife's email address. I sent Karla an email asking if she had any of the books left and told her about the Vetter forum and she sent me back a really nice email.

A couple of quotes from her email

"I have about 300 books left. I would love it if you posted. It sure warms my heart that so many are wanting a book, and to get to know Bob and his knowledge and love of the XS1100. I always kidded him" I wish you loved me as much as that motorcycle". But it was OK, she was there before me."

If you have the XS11 it isn't a bad read.Information on the bike can be found at the web site. Tha book does give you you some insite into who the man was and a little bit of fun info.Worth a read.

Ever get around to reading the book yet Avetter? Talked to him once or twice and he was a character.One of our local members bought a bunch of his stuff after he died.

It is on my list of to-do's. I have almost reached my goal of settled and completed item. After that, I will read.
