FYI: SOS cleaning pads works great to remove the rust off of the Texas Trim pieces.

No not impulsive in the least. It was a cheap bike and a great find. Beside, look @ the money I stand to make. I did land a whole trunk from New Mexico. Complete with next to perfect chrome..! +1 Picture of new chrome on my 78.

I understand now, Looks good, well done with them buys I would probably have to wait a year or two over here to come up with something like that on my eBay.

Another chrome-polishing method is a wad of aluminum foil "dampened" with chrome polish.
