I spent all day working on the XS1100 and my hands are raw. I mounted the air box, then carbs, then had to reroute and do all new fuel lines and vacuum lines. My model used an "Octopus" vacuum block, plus each petcock has two fuel lines coming off it, and it has two petcocks. So, all in all, it makes for a fuel hose/vacuum nightmare.

Got the bike together, and now the electric start doesn't work. It started with the kick starter and no fuel leaks after my carb rebuild. Success! Now tuning, and carb syncing.

I also dry fitted a Windjammer for fun (noticed I said "a Windjammer", I have many!).

I spent hours getting that yellow wire in the perfect photo position.

Dry fit Steppen, dry fit. :)

Thanks! I have been cleaning, polishing, painting, the bike for about the last 6 months. Funny, after I got it together last weekend it started, however not with that electric start. So now I need to track that down. I also need to sync the carbs. Almost there!
