Cree LED 80w Headlight

I was wondering if anyone has tried the Cree 80w H4 replacement LED lamp. Either I am getting old or lamps nowadays aren't as bright as they use to be. (I suspect the former!)

I went for a ride yesterday and I noticed how dim the light is compared to newer. I would love to find a solution that works. I know there are some voltage issues, and some people on the forum have done mods and found the light to burn out quickly. So, please keep us posted on your findings.

Thanks AV, I saw the thread but figured I'd ask again. I need to see what the actual connected load is on the old "Dinosaur" and go from there.
