Hi, just added photo's of my Z1000ST trunk project, awaiting sheet metal to construct mounting plate before final fixing.

Looks sharp Saxon! Really like the paint.

Welcome to the forum! You can also post images in the threads, just use the attachment feature below titled "Upload a File".

Looking forward to more updates.

Welcome to the forum. Vetter trunk's look good on anything... I've even seen one on a Helix.

Thanks for the comments, all completed now, extra photos added.

Inquiring minds want to know... where did you get the green mounts?

Hi they are called Stauff clamps, had some from when I worked for an engineering company. They are normally used to hold industrial pipework.
This is their website in the USA http://www.stauffusa.com/
You do sometimes see them on Ebay as well but normally quite pricey.
They are excellent quality for holding pipework but at a price!

I have been looking at the wiring, its got a 2 pin plug so I have wired up the rear light bulbs to the tail light and they work fine, the yellow wires for the 21w stop lamps have been cut off very short (at manufacture I assume), is this normal?
Don't know if this was done on certain orders to reduce battery drain?

Only a 2 pin plug? I think it should be 4: left, right, brake, and ground.

The plug and socket have 3 holes but only 2 are wired, maybe because it was made for export to the UK as we do not have red indicator signals here, they would have to be amber.

The mounting is clean! Nice job.

Thanks for that, would have been easier if the trunk mounting points were the same distance apart front and rear.
Also its a 4mm thick plate which was maybe a bit over the top!
