Hello everyone!

My name is Jesse. I'm from the NW Burbs of Chicago. Roughly 40 miles from the city.

Last year I obtained a 78 Honda CB 400a with a little over 10K miles. Now it has 11K lol.

Well, upon purchasing it, I decided I wanted to add a fairing, saddle bags, and a trunk. Because well...the bike has no cargo space lol.

Took me about a year, almost to the month but I got her done. Found the Front Fairing (Windjammer) with the correct bracket for my bike for a little over $100. The Stereo housing (Of course, cycle sound Vetter) for around $50 And yesterday I obtained the Saddle bags and trunk for another $100.

Just finished everything earlier today, and I must say...it fits well lol. I just wish I had a taller front and rear mount for the Trunk...that way I could take off my seat lol

Well, I'll try to post pics. From the day I bought it to today. After all, I must say...this bike is my biggest pride and joy. Well...after my kids of course.

And for the picture with the colored lines:
The red circle is the bolt for the OEM grab bar. The red lines is the bracket to hold the trunk. The yellow is the OEM grab bar, and the blue bolt is a 10mm bolt. Heave grade with a HD locking nut.

It was the only way it would fit without major modification.

One downside...i cant take my seat off anymore.

Welcome to VOG and it looks like you have VOG's! (sorry about the illness, we all suffer from it). Great example of the best first post ever. Lots of pics and a great commentary Jesse!

Please let me know if you have any forum question, and ask Beached for anything logical.

Thank you all for the kind welcomes.
The one thing that bugs me about the Vetter trunk is that the bracket sits on seat...I cant get my seat off. I would really like to be able to get my seat off once in a while to get work done.

I'm half tempted to just get some HD metals and make my own brackets..
