picked up the bracket for my gl1100 has the upper clamp with the 2 bolts. I is missing the little square piece that the 2 tabs go into any one have one they can give me the dimension, I can make them up at work. thanks

There are a few GL1100 fellows on here. I will take a look myself and see what I can find for you.

My bracket uses hose clamps.

I just looked at the kit that came with a NOS GL1000 bracket. It came with hose clamps like Brian mentioned. Thinking from a designer standpoint, I think something a little cooler then typical hose clamps could have been devised.

this is the top clamp on my Gold Wing, it is 3 pieces 1 pc. is welded to the bracket a mirror piece is the top half and they tie together with a third piece with slot s in it. The lower mount point is still held on with hose clamps. now just need headlight bucket cover

I have seen the bucket covers on eBay quiet regularly.
