The first of measurement of what I have for identification. As Craig has documented on his website, few of the mounting parts are labeled. Hopefully this will help someone in identification or choosing which will be easiest to modify for their application.

Thats a whole lot of yardsticks Ron. Thanks so much for that contribution. When you say for the GL. Are the mounts the same for the different years of the GL1000? Are all 74 though 79 brackets the same?

Thanks for the info ron. I may end up cutting my 83 GL mount to fit the 75 GL1000.
Now I can scale it with your pictures.
Oh one thing, 2nd picture of the trunk rack. Is the mount that bolts to the grab bar bent at 90 or 45 degs. And how high should this mount be.

I'd say neither, but closer to 90. If I was making one, I'd mount everything and "cut/bend to fit." Here's a pic of one mounted.

I wish the previous owner of my 1100 had had that photo before he drilled 5 holes through the grab-bar to attach the luggage rack/trunk to the bike before I owned it.
