Thought I would post my now fully dressed out Honda VLX 600 with it's Kawasaki by Vetter fairing and saddle bags. Sadly the Vetter tail box was missing on the bike that had the bags. In it's place I have a Pelican Equipment Case. Perhaps some day I'll run across a Vetter tail box. Here are the pic's.

Very nice!

It's amazing how a fairing designed so long ago still looks amazing on newer rides.

Nice ride! That is amazing the way you put it together, even the police like trunk is cool. Is that a radiator in the front?

That is a radiator up front. The Honda VLX 600 is liquid cooled. It's also one of the few modern bikes a Windjammer will fit. It just barely fits. There is only 1/8 inch clearance between the forks and fairing.
That box is a Pelican 1520 Equipment case. They are typically used as camera cases but they are also the perfect size to use as a Tail Box. The local Police Departments that have Motorcycles use a similar size Tail Box so that's the reason it looks like the Tail Boxes used on Police Bikes. I know it helps because other drivers never tailgate or harass me. Amazon sells the Pelican 1520 for $120 new. A similar quality name brand motorcycle Tail Box about the same size would cost more than twice as much.

Here's a few pics of my Honda VLX 600 with the Vetter Trunk I acquired. It now looks as it should.
