Seeing as how I've been spending a lot of time wrenching on my truck, I thought I'd see what other vehicles everyone has.

My truck is a 1995 F-350 7.3L Powerstroke, Crew Cab, Dually.

This weekend I rebuilt most of the front end, took it in for an alignment, and found out I have a couple other issues that need taken care of. It's probably more truck than what I need, but it's paid for and it can handle pretty much anything!

So, what do you guys drive?

If I am not riding or wrenching, I am doing something outside. This is what gets me there:

The dirtier it gets in the process, the better and the more I smile about it.

Just got this for Mama, 2015 Ford Explorer Sport. This thing hauls ass (twin turbo). I drive a 2004 VW Jetta 1.8T, tis my commuter. I have to drive 100ish miles a day, so I need good gas milage.

That's a good looking Explorer!

This is my other ride... I drive it 14 days a month

I bet that thing hauls butt. Here in cali the CHP drive the Explorer. I am sure its a modified version to squeeze even more horse pressure out of it.

Twin turbo'd Explorer? I guess that will haul the groceries :D
Funny thing is I don't think she uses the HP much.

A lot of agencies around here are also using the Explorers. My Charger does have some quickness to it, but unfortunately it's governed. Most of the others at the agency are not, mine just happened to be one of the first Chargers they got in.

What is the purpose of governing a LEO vehicle?????

I have no idea. I learned about the governor while trying to catch up to a speeder doing 89mph.

At least we don't have the V6 Chargers anymore...

My daily driver (a misnomer since I typically take a bus to work) is a 2013 VW Beetle. My "fun" car is a 1965 Oldsmobile Jetstar I equipped with the seldom seen 4 speed transmission.

I like the old school Olds! My first car was a 1968 Old Toronado: 455 CI with front wheel drive. It would pass anything but a gas station.

I think VW did a good job with the newer Beetle's. Your Olds looks sleek; what motor is in it?

Funny coincidence, I am trying to work a deal right now on a '73 Triumph Stag (original rebuilt engine, 4 speed plus overdrive).

Nice! I was supposed to go get this today but my prior engagements kept me busier than I anticipated. I should be getting it tomorrow (Thursday). It's supposedly all original and missing just a few minor parts. I'll know more when I get it loaded on the trailer and haul it home.

Well, my plans with the Triumph fell through. It would have been a fun car. I did however buy another truck yesterday.

1994 F350, 7.3L Powerstroke, 5-Speed, 4x4. If anything, it will make an excellent parts truck, but I'm going to look at getting it back together and hopefully on the road again. Only paid $900 for it.
